Legacy Static websites

In general, Rice University websites are preserved via the Internet Archive's Archive-IT service. For more details or to request a website to be added, please see Rice University's Archived Websites - Archive-IT.

Note to staff: DSS staff may request a research website be added to Rice Archive-it account. For example, this student's research project (http://coveringinamerica.weebly.com/) was submitted to the IR. Since her research output was presented as a website, we request the website be added to archive-it service, though the site is not rice.edu domain. IR Citation: Yelvington, Allison. "What Does it Mean for Muslim Women to Cover in America?." (2018) Rice University: http://hdl.handle.net/1911/99287. The wayback machine can be seen here, http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://coveringinamerica.weebly.com/

For a few cases, an additional local backup of the HTML and related back-end coding has been stored on the Isilon server.  These websites are inactive; that is there is no expectation of new content being added or programming development.
