Project Purpose 

Woodson Research Center has many collections are copyright restricted. The contents for the collections have been placed in isilon storage in dark-archive folder. However, having contents in a filesystem which not all staffs have access to is not convenient. Preservation is another concern. In 2019, WRC proposed that they would like to have the archive preserved using DSpace platform which only WRC staff can access. To minimize the maintenance, we decided to deploy the WRC dark archive over an out-of-the-box DSpace 6.3 on Orion VM. 

Development Milestones 

Jan 2020 - The testing site is setup for the dark archive using dspace 6.3 with docker.
