WRC file names follow the same pattern as those described on the main Fondren file naming convention page.

To create the wrc #s, WRC team members select items and number them with wrc##### numbers, physically labeling the items and tracking them with basic metadata (wrc #, rough title, source information) in the central WRC digi-spreadsheet.

The WRC digi-spreadsheet is a Woodson departmental spreadsheet on the Library's group share (fon-athena) server which tracks every digital item with a wrc#, many of which are not part of a formal project, but are created as part of research requests or exhibit building.
