2013 project = 2000-present

Project is a partnership with the UNT Portal to Texas History to digitize and put online 1916-2000 at issue level only, in OCR'd pdf format.

Microfilm will be created from Rice's print originals in Spring 2013 by Oklahoma Historical Society (pending their work schedule). 

Microfilm will be digitized by the UNT Portal tentatively in Summer 2013 (pending their work schedule). 

These will go online at the Portal with the 1916-2000 issues, at: http://texashistory.unt.edu/explore/collections/THRSH/ as well as in Rice's IR at http://scholarship.rice.edu/handle/1911/64890.

2012 project = 1916-2000

project was a partnership with the UNT Portal to Texas History to digitize and put online 1916-2000 at issue level only, in OCR'd pdf format.

This was done using existing microfilm for 1916-2000. 
They are available at the Portal at: http://texashistory.unt.edu/explore/collections/THRSH/

Rice worked in early Fall 2012 to put these materials online in our IR, side by side with the existing legacy decade there (http://scholarship.rice.edu/handle/1911/64890 )

2007 project = 1958-1967

Existing content online in Rice IR =  1958-1967, at both the issue and article level, in OCR'd pdf format. 

This was a 2007 project.See http://scholarship.rice.edu/handle/1911/27631. 

This was a pilot project to test the pros and cons of offering article level and issue level access.
It was determined that we should move forward with issue level access only. 

Project files (master TIFFs, access PDFs and metadata) are available internally on Fondren's project server.
